Senior Vice President Global Supply Chain
SVP, Global Development and Product Supply for Mattel, Inc. Philippe is responsible for the Global Logistics Network and Planning functions, with the specific direction of building/designing an integrated end-to-end Supply Chain organization with an emphasis on world-class fulfillment. With more than 25 years of significant, executive-level experience in leading large-scale and complex supply chains and implementing successful end-to-end planning from a manufacturing-driven operation to a demand-driven supply chain.
Prior to joining Mattel, he held the position of SVP Global Supply Chain Management at Merck, Inc. with accountability for manufacturing production planning, distribution planning, product sourcing allocation, manufacturing supply chain design, end-to-end product management, logistics and transportation. Prior to Merck, he spent 22 years at Kraft foods, holding key leadership positions in both Europe and the U.S. As SVP of Global Customer Service and Logistics, where he successfully implemented an end-to-end supply chain planning process that resulted in a significant reduction of inventory, as well as improved sales forecasting accuracy worldwide.
Philippe earned his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Liege in Belgium and his M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California.
